Our Coaching Services

Divorce Coaching

Divorce Coaching involves divorce education and training, somatic, and other stress relief techniques. People in divorce experience high-stress levels and feelings of overwhelm and grief, pain, loss, anger, etc. by the enormity of this major life transition. A Divorce Coach guides a divorcing Client to stress reduction, uncoupling, empowerment, more effective decision-making, and creative solutions.

A Divorce Coach can move a divorcing Client away from High-Conflict Divorce toward a more Conscious Uncoupling, respectful, and dignified divorce.

A Divorce Coach highlights for the divorcing Client necessary actions to create a sense of empowerment in the divorce process.

Professional boundaries define Divorce Coaches and the line between Divorce Coaching and the Practice of Law, Therapy, Mediation, and Financial Analysis.

Co-Parent Coaching

Co-Parent Coaching involves engagement with the Co-Parents in tools to help them with the Uncoupling process to facilitate better Co-Parent Communications.

In the Co-Parent Coaching process, parents will be challenged by the Coach with appreciative inquiry to look within; will be guided to examine their own values and those of the other parent; will learn how to improve their communications in front of their children about the other parent and about their own grief, pain, loss, anger, etc.; and will learn how to improve their communications with their Co-Parent in terms of language, tone, body language, timing, etc. for the benefit of their children.

The Co-Parent Coach can assist the Co-Parents in developing a mutual Divorce Story for their Divorce (or mutual Separation Story, if unmarried Parents) to deliver to their children, so that their children do not carry the baggage of their parents’ Divorce.

In the Co-Parent Coaching process, parents will be guided in the development of a comprehensive and tailored Parenting Plan that suits their children’s best interests, or if they already have a Parenting Plan in place, they will be guided through disputes to resolutions.

We offer a valuable tool to Co-Parents – a Workbook – Our Family in Two Homes.

Parent Coaching

A Parent Coach is a non-judgmental non-presumptuous guide who helps answer the universal need of parents for more support, knowledge, and clarity. A Parent Coach provides the answer to the age-old lament that children do not come to us with a manual. A Parent Coach helps parents to write their own manuals, meeting their family’s unique values and needs. A Parent Coach is a guide, creating a safe space for parents to examine and break generational patterns to not repeat them and to highlight the generational gifts to pass on, so parents can create their desired family life.

The expectation has always been that every parent has to figure it out as they go along. Yet,as our lives and the world become more complex, and as we see the way children and parents are struggling, more families are seeking support and guidance from professional Parent Coaches. Our knowledge of Child Development, Family Dynamics, Brain Science, Emotional Regulation and Intelligence, Attachment Theory, Attunement, Positive Parenting has evolved. We now know that having a deeper understanding of these areas is one key to nurturing our children and guiding them to be the kind, confident, connected adults of the future. For these reasons, many parents are turning to professional Parent Coaches to find the support, information, and tools to feel confident as parents and enjoy their family lives.
